Default omfg...slow power window

mine is fixed!!! with a super cheap fix i might add..just spray lube down the window rails, where the window fits tight into the edges, put some white lithium grease in there and u will be amazed. mine was slower than heck but now its going up faster than my driver side window!

Found out the same thing myself a few weeks ago from a buddy at a body shop here that I do work for. I'm not so sure I'd want to use white lithium though. I would think it would eventually 'leak' out of the channels and get on the glass.

Anyway, I digress. He said the winter road salt etc. gets in the tracks, causes drag, and that slows down the window operation. We sprayed in some lube (made specifically for windows tracks) and now the windows work much better.

Excellent work! I will do this tonight! I have some silicone spray laying around, I'll shoot some of that in the window channels.

I think a lot of us would be interested in knowing that. I've always stayed away from lubing the rails because the summer heat would likely make a smearfest of most lubes.

you could always find your power window motor, ground the neutral , then run the other wire straight to the alternator and put a switch in between, bet you it will go up fast... once

Or a cheaper (possibly less effective alternative)
