Its pretty easy to disconnect... just screwdriver for the wires to the amp.. literally under 5 minutes and its out. Then just flip the seat back

Not to hyjack but this is what i did. 2005 Dakota SLT. Base is good overall, i have alpine componets all around, in side the truck it sounds great. Had to bang out the floor a little so the sub did not contact the sheet metal of the floor, other than that i have a switch if someone is sitting on the seat so the speaker is not trying to play while being compressed.

this would not be nearly as loud as yours but works great and has a stock apperence. Like your truck BTW, looks good.

To Jeepingman and Kwanczyk: To both you guys, your trucks look great! I did the same thing as Brand New and threw a 10" sub in an enclosure that hides behind the seat so I still have a clean look all around. I like what you did with that sub under the seat, and I noticed what you are saying about it being compressed when someone sits there. (you can see where the material under the seat has a ring from the sub. I ran into a similar issue when I wanted to put my amps under that seat. So, I redid the seat frame itself and cut off the the seat cover bottom to make room, and havent had any problems since. I'll add a few pics so you guys can see what I'm talking about.
Here is a pic of the enclosure so you can see how it fits behind the seat.

This is a couple pics of how I mounted my amps so you can see how I was able to create about an extra 2 inches of clearance.
