Funny thing, I live in a very liberal area, lots of the greenies here. Even though we have E85/Biodiesel stations, and they are cheaper than the regular stations, you will find them all lined up in their hybrids getting regular gas. They won't touch the "green" stuff.

thanks man, got real busy with things the past 2 years and kinda left all my forums. as school is winding down i found myself pretty bored and main reason i came back was due to my interest in detailing. i mean, it was pretty high but i wanted to look into an orbital ect and so on....i posted in the detailing section of this site and am very disappointed with the amount of attention over there. i take it everyone stays in their realm of the forum (ram, dakota ect and so on)...it's a shame. i am also on ls1tech.com (s/n LT1_Hawk if anyone else is over there) and people browse the crap out of every section. it's wonderful. i wish the general population here had that desire.

haha...I can just barely keep up with the things going on in this 3rd gen forum. I have not even looked to see what other things are in the actual "Dodge Forum" realm, other than posting on the Journey forum every now and then (wife has an 09 POS Journey, lol). If I need something, I just ask here....I, too, am interested in detailing so maybe I'll give that section a look as my truck has terrible swirl marks that can be seen in certain angles that I want to get rid of and also some clear coat overspray that I cant see but I can feel...

Im thinking about going with a rear turbo setup for my 3.7L only if there was a way to tune it lol or an LSx 5.3L or 6.0L into the truck

To all Dak owners and all enviro nut-jobs, the one fact is for the little bit of power output and the amount of fuel used for that lack of power equals insanely bad millage.
For my little 260hp HO to burn an average 15.5 mpg is an embarrassment. You might think I was enjoying driving a 390 HP full size Hemi Ram or a full size anything. I fully understand why they threw the 4.7 under the buss.

Doesn't bother me one bit. Like I used to tell one of the guys I knew in college "someone has to offset your damn prius".

Graythang, I have to ask, are you ever happy? I don't think I've ever seen a post from you on here where you seem to be in a good mood.

If you don't like the mileage then don't own a truck! Really, it's that simple. I have a little ZX2 that gets 39 on the highway for when I need good mileage. The truck is for working and hauling my bikes.

That very thought runs through my mind every time I see a post about crappy gas mileage. It's a TRUCK, not a prius. Yes it's bad, but what do you expect? Especially from Dodge....lol...
