so i'm confused. why did you get a core return back when no core was required or sent?

lol sorry its confusing know. so he sent 2 different paypal money requests. 1 for the engine 1 for the core. if i sent him my core back i would get that refunded. i had filed the claim before i had spoken to the manager at the distributor. the manager said he would work it out with me. so i would have assumed we would contact via the paypalth claim so it could be monitored. but he didnt respond so paypal automatically refunded my money.

there was no written core return contract, just verbal.

If they want the cores back, does this mean they are rebuilding the engines and just saying that they were pulled out of a vehical? What are they going to do with cores when most engines that need to be replaced are high mileage, older, and they have major problems.

It is just paint, the exhaust valves look normal (according to my co-worker). I took and put two bolts in the crank shaft, and used a soft aluminium bar to turn it a little, and it does move nicely!

If the guy calls back I reccomend taking his call. That way if anything comes of it yu can show that you were reachable.

If the guy wants the core shipped back ask him for his shippers number and have him pay the shipping.
