Adding U connect mirror to RER
Got a question, when i install the RER mygig into my truck, it has the unconnect stuff already, so if I just buy the mirror and run the wire to the mygig, it should work correct??

The only thing you need to get the RER (already has uConnect built-in) to work is a mic.
If you are saying you have the factory uConnect already in your Dakota, I would remove it and the mirror and sell it!
If you want to just wire the built in mic in the mirror to your RER, you could do that...BUT..
I would look for any 2008+ rearview mirror with just the built in mic on Ebay (I keep looking at them, they are like $75ish).
A factory external mic is like $35.00...it plugs right in the back of the RER:
