Default Wiper arm removal

Hey guys I have a new to me 2006 Dakota quad. Today is the first time it has rained since I got it and I noticed that the wiper arm is hitting something on the downward stroke. Does any one know how to remove or adjust the arm so it does not go down so far? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

My '05 was doing that recently, the nut holding the arm is just loose....on the wiper arm there is a plastic cap covering the the nut that holds the arm in place.

Set the blade where you want it and tighten the nut with, I believe was a 9/16" socket.

I was just gonna post this question in the opposite lol. I wanna move mine down a little. I do not like how they sit so high on the wind shield in the off position.

remove nut, pry arm off, reattach arm in desired position, tighten nut....: )
