Default Need help with instrument cluster

My speedo needle was broke, has been for sometime. Replaced it today and now none of my needles zero themselves. My tach and gas gauge only work some of the time and will not sweep when I do the cluster sweep. What the hell do I do???!?!?!

Did you pull any other needles off, or only the speedo needle?

Did you press the other needle closer into the face? The needles will not sweep if they are pushed in too far. That was driving me nuts when I put them back on, I figured out the needles need a little room from the face or they will not work well, or at all.
-Try prying the speedo needle out a little and see if that one will work, it may be way off, but see if it moves freely.

And make sure all 3 rear plugs are firmly in place, not loose at all.

Ok Dakotaff, I will try that and see.. I will keep you updated.

EDIT: All gauges sweep and are zeroed. Thanks Dakotaff! Side note for those who install gauge faces. You do NOT need to remember where your needles are. My neighbor is a Tech at the local dodge dealership. He came over this morning and told me that to reset cluster to zero just unhook the neg. cable on the battery. Same as CEL reset. My speedo was zeroed at 50 and tach was pinned at 7 (somehow). Did the unhook the battery thing and viola they reset themselves.

yup. ummm.... it will also avoid tickets. I will look down at my cluster more often to see my speed. I don't do it know because the green is "ugly" to look at lol

Glad it all worked out for ya. I wish I had that disconnect battery info last week, I had to pull that damn cluster out something like 20 times.
