Safe range for engine temps
Mine must be a odd ball then. My truck NEVER, under any kind of circumstances has ever gone over the halfway mark no matter what Ive been doing or towing. And I live in Fl, so its never not 90° freaking hot lol. And its just a totally stock 3.7L
I feel ya. Were going to reach 106 today here in south texas.
106 that's it I saw it hit 118 in phoenix a couple times and it would still stay above 100 at night
Tell me about it. I was born and grew up in mesa. I thought I was getting a break when I moved to texas. Boy was I wrong, I thought I made a wrong turn and ended up where I started.
I know right my in laws live in austin and its hot as hell there too but the air force decided that I needed to go somewhere cold so now im in anchorage ak

I love how we all like to compare who's hotter or colder depending on the season. I've been many places in this country and if it's not a dry heat, it's a swampy sweaty. Either way it's uncomfortable, lol!
Random note about the heat: last year I blew a boat trailer tire on the interstate in the middle of july. truck temp showed 112, but I felt the heat through my sneakers on the asphalt while changing that tire. ugh.
