Default DIY Ball Joints? Ya or Na

Hey guys,

Believe my front ball joints are shot. Are they an easy DIY or should I be taking it to a shop? It will be myself and two buddies and we've done this once (on a buick regal). It's it gonna be about the same or much harder to do on my 05 Dakota 4wd?

Thanks!

If you have the cash just get it done at shop. The uppers are easy they come complete with the control arm. The lowers are pressed into the control arm but can be a pain to remove. You will need an alignment afterwords as well so inspect and replace all faulty suspension and steering componants.

If it's just the top ones, do it yourself. I believe it's like 3 bolts or something like that.
