Hey guys, sorry I've been out of it for a bit, was away training up for my upcoming deployment. Yeah, I got right before I left and just got back and got everything installed! I love it, just need to learn how to use everything the way I want to. For example.

When I use the gps my radio turns off while I am looking at the nav screen. If I turn the radio back on I will still get turn updates, but I would like to be able to see the nav screen while I am listening to music.

iPOD ok, what is up with my iPod connection. I can play music fine, if i control it thru the ipod directly, but for some reason when the ipod controls come up on the screen it doesnt recognize any of the files or play lists or anything. Weird.

Also, for some reason my GPS keeps turning on automatically every time I turn my truck on, also weird.

All in all, I am very happy. I need to play with this thing a lot more to get used to it and I am sure I can get it to do all I want it to and figure out why its doing or not doing things the way I'd like.

BTW, the bluetooth works great! I love it!

Also, its almost funny, but as I was reading the "users manual" I felt like when it was written over in china, the lil asian dude just highlighted everything on his puter screen and right clicked on translate, cuz it reads really funny.

It would be nice if there was a Youtube tutorial on this thing, if any of you know of such a video that would be great, or if you had similar issues and figured out how to change or correct them let me know.

I like being able to change the navi voice to different languages, just wish there was one for Australian women. Oh well, I guess UK Kate will have to do for now.

Oh and almost forgot, got my rear view cam installed as well, works great, but I need to adjust the viewing angle a bit so I can see just a wee bit more of my bumper so I can really get close when backing into a bmw or mercedes.

Bottom line, two thumbs up.

Good idea, Ill have to try that. I'm also realizing that it takes awhile for the CD's to load, no big deal, but whatever.

Curious, with yours, have you had any issues with the radio sounding kind of funny (like getting louder and softer almost like a loose connection). I have to double check and see if the guys who installed it didn't put the radio cable all the way in.
