maybe they did not know what they were doing but problem they had was the lower arm was at full droop (disconnected) and the bottom of the strut was about 2" lower and out from the mounting hole. They would have had to compress the spring to raise the bottom of the strut up and at the same time push the strut in towards the mounting hole. I should have took pictures. Maybe the tightened the top bolts too soon and the strut would not move then? I dont know.
