Default rear brakes

I saw a newer jeep grand cherokee and it has disk brakes on the rear. I know that some of them have the dana 44 rear axle (8.5in) and it looks like the lugs are 5 on 5. would it be possible to use the rear disk brake set up from it on our trucks? Just a thought.

Probably be easier to swap the entire axle if they match up.

I don't know if that would work or not the jeeps have a beam rear suspension where we have leaf spring but it might work with some modding to the axle.
