Default what you all do for a living.

I have noticed that some of you are very talented in doing stuff with cars, just wondering what you all do for a living. To know how to do all that.

I work in plumbing and heating , which has some benefits for cars. Or maybe some of you just grew up in the farm.

Just curious, and thought I would start it out.

US Coast Guard Machinery Technician for 11 years (E6 making E7 this year). The CG has taught me everything from diesels, gas, plumbing, hydraulics, ac&r, basic electrical, and outboard motors. I'm sure I'm missing some things but that is bulk of it.

I'm currently a Port State Control Officer out of Tampa.

Insurance Fraud Investigator. I'm slated to go to the Colorado State Patrol acadamy in Jan.

Before this, I worked at JR Race Car for almost 3 years: Dragster assembly, engine assembly, marketing coordinator.

For all you guys in the military, Thank you for serving.

Awesome. So far, (Colorado State Patrol), I have finished the written application, psych eval, risk assesment profile, polygraph, background investigation, and in-home interview. If my total score from all of this is high enough against the other applicants, I will go to the acadamy in Jan, which is 22 weeks long.
