Exclamation Tonneau Cover Care

So what do you guys use for a cleaner/conditioner on your vinyl covers? Is the Extang Tonno Tonic worth the money or is there something better/cheaper/pricier, etc? Any input is welcome...

I had a cheap snap on cover when they first came out, lasted about 6 years, always took off cover and used a mild dishwashing detergent with softener in it to clean. then I would armoral the cover because of the winters and the cold, over the 6 year period cover started to crack and peel. always loved a fiberglass one, and would never go back, dont use my bed that often, and I have a small trailer if I need to haul stuff

Yeah I am running the Extang Classic and was just curious as I do the same. I mean I usually wash is by hand/brush and rinse it off. Its currently still looking rather new, but I want to condition it some before it goes down hill. I may just use some of this Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner that's good for Vinyl as well...

I use Pro-Tex from Truxedo, works great. Probably the same stuff as Extang Tonno Tonic, but cheaper.

I've got a Lorado too, can you close your tailgate "normally". Something funky is going on with mine, I have to lift both sides and push the tailgate in with my chest a bit and then close it. Only way it works, real PITA. Not sure if I need to make some kind of simple adjustment or replace it?

I just always hosed mine off but I like the idea of a leather cleaner or the like.

When I had a vinyl cover I always used 303 on it after washing/drying.
