Default Center console -- Power outlet

I'm finally installing the full center console, and the power outlet plugs are both female and different sizes. Is there a simple way to connect these together.

I'm thinking:
1. Maybe the connection on the floor of the cab is for the heated seats (I don't have stock heated seats).
OR
2. The console is from a 2nd Gen Dakota, maybe the 3rd Gen Dakota power outlet has a different (bigger male) connector that will plug right in.

The plug from the console is the small one, large plug is from the Dakota floor.

I bet it does contain the connections for heated seats. You can always just find the hot and ground and make your own connector.

Well, since the 4 hour downpour finally ended that postponed me finishing up today, I went out and picked up a 2 wire connector and spliced it all together. The skeeters were swarming me outside so hopefully I can find time tomorrow to get my truck back together.

This is the connector that I picked up for $2, it gives me another 12" of slack.

Where did you find your center console? You did say it was a 2nd gen right? Thinking of picking one up at the junkyard if install wasn't too bad! The console looks very nice!
