Default Fender painting

I recently painted my front pass. fender and the paint matches perfectly but the only problem is that the clear coat isn't glossy and mirror-like like on the truck..what should I do? my brother told me to buff it. would i sand it first? and can i go ahead and put it on my truck?

Did you wet sand between coats? Buffing it may work, I would have to look at it to be sure.

I didn't wet sand. It's looks perfect but it just isn't mirror image shiny. My friends dad said wet sand and buff with polishing compound
