dakota_raven 08-23-2011 09:48 PM

WOW! Looks awesome!!!!

jkeaton 08-23-2011 09:54 PM

I have to say.....WTF...the second pic...no extreme angle.....straight out...how much?

Dakkkota 08-23-2011 09:55 PM

LOL good ground cleerence cleen look killer skid plates between the crossmember and kickers braces will be available...the rear for now is a 4'' block...but a deaver leaf pack wil be an option with fabtech ajustable coil over or bilstein/ranchos series 9000 for cheaper kit... probabely a rear shocks mount relocation bracket too optional...

Dakkkota 08-23-2011 10:03 PM

its a 6''lift kit with a coil spacer because the killer bumper weight a ton.

marcsnyder05 08-23-2011 10:39 PM

HOLY SH!T!! That is FING bad A$$!!!!!!! it looks so good, and it looks like it will work just FINE. I want!!! Did they use the stock length struts? this has brought a tear to my eye it looks like there is finally a legit lift for us now. :D now the big question how much?

Eimer123 08-23-2011 10:45 PM

That looks amazing. That strut mount looks scary

Nope, that is legit. Most companys do that. Steering is in the normal spot, no steering drop. That is good. Heavy duty construction everywhere, angles all good. Sway bar is gone, probably o.k. Don't need it for offroading, but how does that affect the on road handling? Looks awesome!!
4" diff drop? 6" with spacer would make it that. The top arm, is that stock? Good work.

Backwoods18 08-24-2011 06:47 AM

Yea buddy!!

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 07:07 AM

swaybar link spacer available on the kit...swaybar is removed for flexing test and the spacer is common look at all fabtech, superlift,RCX,zone etc..they all use a 4'' spacer for 6'' lift

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 07:09 AM

the top arm is stock its the spindle that is longer so the angle is flat

For what? I never understood what happened and/or why he left DF. Was something said to him?

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 07:16 AM

after all the negative comments...he left the DF but i kept contact with him and share infos. if there is to much negative comments the kit will probabely not release so be smooth :P the kit will be in the 2000$range but with fabtech ajustable coil over and option some more $$$

Who was it that said the bad comments? I'm guessing they are eating their words now.

donkeypunch 08-24-2011 08:50 AM

Never got any negative crap from me. I was actually happy to see someone making an effort and wasn't surprised when he left. Glad to see something get to this point. Unfortunately I just bought a house so I wouldn't be able to buy a kit today if it was available, but with that house came a garage, and my front end is coming due for service so I should be ready to consider a purchase right around the time this becomes available; if, hopefully it does.

haha Zingbot 3000 love that thing

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 08:56 PM

the basic kit only lower the control arms for tires/ground clearance...to have performance gain you need to spend some more $$$ on ajustable coil over...

sleds 08-24-2011 09:19 PM

How much modification is needed to the exhaust? Looks like you would need to add a couple inches to the down pipe below the cats. Everything else is pretty basic to do the install with the steering in the stock location. That is the best way to make that long spindle. Kudo's to them.

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 09:52 PM

he used a flex pipe...but a custom exhaust at a muffler shop would be the best choice...

durapu 08-24-2011 10:47 PM

This Might seem like a dumb question but does the transmission drop too? I only ask cause I have the 6speed manual. If I do a body lift I have to have a custom spacer for the shifter.. and just wanted to know if I would be looking at anything special for this suspension kit

Dakkkota 08-24-2011 10:51 PM

you dont need a spacer??? maybe some minor flexing to the shifter...and the tranny dosent move.

thunder98110 08-25-2011 09:17 PM

ditto^ the angle on your tie rods is just stoopid. how do you even turn the wheel. haha

Noah0z 08-25-2011 09:55 PM

That's at full droop right?

sleds 08-25-2011 10:40 PM

Are we going to start a Dodge Forum group buy on this lift so we can get a pretty decent price?

If so I am in.

projektdirtfab 08-25-2011 10:43 PM

So did he figure out a coil slap solution or is he leaving them that close together? Using coils as a bump stop is a bad idea.

sleds 08-26-2011 12:12 AM

Lets see some more pics of that front bumper as well Dakkkota, if you have any.
