I can't see how those would work on a Dakota. I would just resell them, it's not worth the trouble to try to make them work.
What size tire would you even think about putting on those rims?

Agreed!

im not sure why the width is an issue. my stock rims are 8 1/2 inches wide so the wheels are only 1 1/2 wider and stock tire width is 10 1/2 inches wide so 12 1/2 wide tires would only be 2 inches wider than stock not that big of an inrease. and i was planning to go with either 31's or 32's for now untill i get more lift and run 33's

Stock wheels are 8" wide, not 8 1/2". Just curious what size tires you would plan on getting. Specific size, not 31" or 32".
With a body lift, maybe, but without, I'm skeptical. Stock height, no chance.

they say they are 8" wide. but when you actually take the tire off and measure it. it is 8 and a half. and im not sure what you mean specific size. and i have a daystar 2" leveling kit.

I think you will have rubbing issues. They are nice wheels tho. I agree that they would be hard to make work.

By size, I mean like 305/70/16, it's going to have to be a wide tire on a 10" rim. Even that size, which is 32.8", should be mounted on a rim of 8" - 9.5" wide.
If you try to do it, best of luck.

2" bigger is a big deal(ask any woman..haha) You will rub pretty bad, plus if you dont have the right size tire on that wide of a rim then you take the risk of popping a bead if your offroading. For offroading 12.5" wide tires should ideally be mounted on 8" or 8.5" wide rims. It allows you to air down without risk of popping a bead.

Those are Cragar D's - I've been eyeing them myself. There's a Wrangler around me that sports them and they look great with the pinstripes and chrome center cap.

Great value, nice color and STEEL (I am not huge on alloy truck rims)

Those are almost a direct replacement for OEM except for 1" less offset, which I don't think is a huge deal (someone correct me)

This is about a 0 (zero) offset. You can fit them fine, but if if you go for a larger tire, it can rub into the front fenders. The larger tires on a higher offset wheel will rub on the front splash guards and front wheel well liners, which are pretty easy to trim.

Some guys are running that offset (zero), wait for them to chime in.
