oh...and i had VERY similar damage about 2 years ago with a 2006 dak. front bumper, fender, hood, back fender, and bumper. After all was said and done it was just over 8k in repairs. I fought to have it totalled b/c in AZ if it's within a certain percentage of the value, they can total it and write you a check. It worked out in my situation and I got a dak with less miles and tons more options (4x4, v8, sunroof, quad cab, leather, etc)..

I hope all goes well with your insurance company. Don't let them or the other insurance company jerk you around. Just get a lawyer and have them deal with it. In the end the lawyer more than pays for their services, however I did have chiropractor appts, etc with mine.

Body shop estimate came back at $14,800. That will be non repairable at that price.

Dearly Beloved, we are gather here today to mourn the passing of another Dakota, gone to the big pick&pull in the sky.

We shall Honor the memory of this noble dodge with the burning of a Chevrolet.
With the hopes that the dodge will live peacefuly in its next life.

Sorry to hear it's gone. I hate to see a Dakota like that, especially a nice red one!

Wow, sorry to hear the news. Too bad you just put on the new tires and shocks. I see a new Dak in the future!
