60mph ijn the trail with the dak..bad idea..
This weekend i rent a camp for 4 days. 1h30 of offroading prerunner style40-60mph full load with my ATV and a trailer and a motocross...
My truck felt like it was falling appart. i am not impressed with the tires+ suspension package...i did the same trail with my 2wd ranger stock suspension with 235 75 16 and handles alot better...

well...prerunners to you guys might be a little different then prerunners in desert racing.
a prerunner is any type of vehicle that can run the course prior to the race in order to log it on the gps and mark certain landmarks on the trail map. hence, a 4 wheeler or a dune buggy technically CAN and ARE prerunners in the baja. But prerunners do not tow trailers and have heavy equipment in the back.
my dakota was a prerunner in the last henderson 250 for my buddies class 1 team. it did quite well actually. but it doesnt have long travel to be able to go beyond prerunning...which is what i want to do. jump!

yeah, those trails can be pretty teeth rattling. Their suspension is too stiff with very little travel to add confidence at speed on a trail. I've always thought the dak did everything good, but not great. This is one of those things. I've never broken anything, but I feel like my truck is cursing me every time I do it.
