throttle position sensor..spray it with electric cleaner, clip and plug. also put a zip tie, not too tight but snug, to hold it in place nicely. it fixes my truck every time but the problem will calm back in anytime between 5-14 days :/ so i suggest just replacing the sensor to clear your problem. I didnt replace mine yet but will when i get the extra money with a Mopar one..quite an annoying problem though especially if you have an exhaust system and your trucks loud! its embarassing haha

I can understand cleaning it.. but whats the purpose of the zip tie, and how would it be placed on the tps? The symptoms the truck is displaying aren't synonymous with a tps. I see how this is a guess but do you have any reasoning for why it could be the tps? I'm trying to learn!

I will clean it and check back in later. Thanks!

Issue has been fixed.. Started the truck up and let it build oil pressure.. Then banged it off the rev limiter a few times pretty hard. Stopped ever since.
