I have a 08 Dakota with the stock radio ( RES ) with mp3 and CD player. I now have a radio ( REQ ) a dodge radio with satellite radio capability, DVD/CD,MP3,and 6 disc CD player..I was told it will fit into the truck the only question is I don't know where to plug the radio antenna and where to plug the satellite antenna..there is two place's but unsure which is which.

 

trial and error my friend, its only 2 plugs..leave ur dashboard dismantled and swap them back and forth until it works!

 

Like gjmorgan said it's only 2 plugs so it should be obvious. I am curious to see if the REQ fits.

On my 08 the metal support for the RES radio would not allow me to install an after market radio even through all the sites (Crutchfield, Amazon) said it would fit. Out came the saw and fixed the problem.

yes the (REQ) fit's just like the (RES) no cutting or anything and got the radio for 80.00 off of e-bay, had a sat. ant. plugged it into the bottom pulg called sirrus and now have sat. music also the top plug is for am/fm and bottom pulg is for Satellite ant. Also the REQ is not aftermarket it is a dodge radio..
