Mevotech Control Arms get my Final Approval
Hey all.
Installed some replacement upper control arms on my 06 dakota back in March, due to the original ball joints being on their last leg.
It has been over 6 months and figured I would let the forum know that they are holding grease well, and are still nice and tight with no signs of a problem.
Feel free to buy and use these control arms/ball joints as they have not disappointed me. The price is excellent on these too. It is a nice cheaper alternative to the Moog parts. I greased them today when checking them out, but they only needed two pumps, because they held grease quite well.
For the DIY crown, remember that when it comes to replacing the upper control arms, there is no alignment done with them, everything is done on the lower arm. The uppers are stationary bolt ons. Any DIY guy who can do there brake pads or an oil change can change these, it is literally 3 bolts off, and 3 bolts on.
