I was wondering why people were talking about swapping injectors, b/c the stock one's can put out plenty of gas to deal w/ bolt on's and the pcm can adjust quite a bit to keep you from running lean. Thanks for the explanation.

Ozone you could do the underdrive pulley I've had an ASP on my truck for over a year w/ no issues. The ati superdamper would be the best choice but costs a bit more, asp did have issues w/ them when they first made them, but that has long since been resolved. I'm not sure how much the injectors will help you w/ the better spray pattern that thunder mentioned, but if you do them I'd like to see your track times before and after. How many #'s are the stock 3.7 injectors? Looked on airram's site and found these http://www.airram.com/product.php?ca...productid=1353. I did a fastman ported TB and it helped throttle response and seemed to give some more grunt. Jba has headers for the 3.7, but I'm not sure if they will fit a dakota.

You could always just get a getrag 238 programmer. it's soo simple. It gives you a big metal pole in the floor with which to adjust you shift points manually.. it's awesome.

might as well buy a whole new truck....dropped about $1200 into her this past month...dont need to go dropping another $500 for the SCT. I'll just hang on to the injectors for the next round of engine mods....

he means you will need a tune that will make your injectors work like they should without running rich. A tune that was written specifically for your truck by someone that understands fuel maps and timing advance curves. that kind of custom tune. the tunes our superchips tuners are written to work with the factory equipment and nothing else. that being said your in a bit of a pickle because you need trans tuning and a custom tune..... thats got to suck.
