Default On the hunt for H/O cams

Wanting to find some H/O cams. Not ready for custom tunes so decided not to go the 206+ route.

Is there a part number for the H/O cams? None of the websites seem to list it. I think this may help while searching for them.

Best deal I can find so far is 317.32 shipped from dodgepartsmopar.com What other sites would you suggest I look at?

What i've found so far
dodgepartsmopar.com 317.32
makeitmoparparts.com 350.54
moparliquidators.com 335.36
wholesalemopar.com 329.52
dodgetruckparts.net 322.51
makeitdodgeparts.com 350.54
dodgeparts.com 332.58
moparpartsamerica.com 392.00
partswebsite.com/ 393.00
moparpart.com 323.69

Finally, should I replace valve springs while I am at it? I know it isn't absolutely necessary but what would you recommend?

i didnt replace springs when i did mine with 114k. blown287 said it wasn't necessarily. I sent you 2 links to HO cams that I found on craigslist, maybe you missed it. call airram and ask when he will get cams in again.

Yea I saw the craigslist links you sent on the other post, and thanks. If they were within driving range I would, but not sure i want to negotiate a transaction long distance like that. At least with Ebay, paypal offers some protection but however i send money for a craiglist ad it is all on good faith. I think they both wanted more than what I found them for online anyways, but they would probably negotiate. I did look to find some in my area but no luck. Thanks for the part numbers, I had those but for some reason thought they were different.

Still hoping someone knows of a great deal on these! Just bugs me reading of people buying these cams for less than 200 new a few years ago and having to spend an extra 50 % now.

How does a paypal payment for a craiglist transaction cover the buyer?

well if you pay him with paypall to his paypall email, its a paypall transaction, i dont think it matters if its from CL or a forum, if you pay using paypall its covered.

I've never done a paypal transaction that wasn't for an ebay purchase, so I assumed if I sent money via paypal directly to a user (not for ebay) they could withdraw the money and I wouldn't have a way to dispute. So you are saying he couldn't w/d the money until I confirmed I got the shipment?

Well I've now read about the national backorder on H/O cams. and dodgepartsmopar still hasn't shipped my order so I'm assuming they don't have them on hand. I've also tried the two CL ads that thunder provided in a different thread and the local salvage yard with no luck yet. If anyone has a lead on some H/O cams please PM me.
