Default PS to my previous post

My truck is a 2005, and has the same equipment as a TRX, which means the optional P-265 17" tires. This truck is the full time 4WD (AWD). Owners manual and all published information that I can find warns against mixing tire sizes on AWD, or it may cause drive train damage.

Question for the Dodge Gurus. Since I have P-265 17" tires on the truck, why did Dodge give me a cheesy undersized 16" tire and wheel for a spare?

sway bars are for sissys and sports cars! nuff said.

mine have been off for some time. convincing the sheep public that its actually better for a truck (if you go off pavement) to not have them, is the hard part

Of course, I agree that off road, the sway bars should not be on. But, my truck is also my daily driver, and in my line of work, I travel the highways quite a bit. I think the best option for my situation is to fab quick disconnects for the front, and just leave the rear off.

I am running them at 35 psi, which is the best combination between tire profile and the bump steer caused by higher inflation. I have been running these for 25K+ miles with no adverse effects on the suspension. I am running the Trailmaster lift and Rancho shocks in the front, and Monroe Sensa-Trac (load levelers) in the rear.

No more "E" range for this truck!
I've had the "E"s on for over 30,000 miles with 55psi in them. Yes, its a bit stiff. But pavement response is amazing compared to the wishy-washy P-metric tires that came on it stock.
