I agree, we don't tell these Canadians anything until we get more Tim Horton's in the US, eh?

 

Has anyone replaced the stock bulbs with higher wattage ones?

I found some cool new LED lights that look like they would fill the holes once new brakets were made to hold them but over $200 for the pair is a bit much.

 

if you pull your relay under the hood for your fog lights run a jumper wire to the 2 closest to the drivers fender all the others run different direction sorry dont know how to put a diagram up! im also running 120watt bulbs in them love it!

i live in canada and we have honestly like 10-13 tim hortons in this town of 75,000 people.

 

I was running 100 watt in my fog lights but the housings started showing signs of melting/heat damage so I took them out. I also had 80/100 watt headlight bulbs, no problems with those yet, but honestly could not really tell a difference between those and stock. Just search for the bulbs on ebay, you will find tons of them. H13 headlight and 9005 foglight.

 

i paid under $20.00 on ebay for my headlight bulbs 80/100 and my 120 w fog lights

 

Just reading through this thread and wanted to throw in my two cents...but I remember doing this on a 2003 Ranger, and all I had to do was pop the hood, pull a relay, and bend one of the prongs, and plug it back in. From that point on, my fogs worked with both high and low beams and I never had any sort of problems. I just recently got a Dakota, which is why I was in here in the first place....and this was my first post.
