funny a friend of mine runes rancho 5000's all round on his ford f 150. its also a plow truck ( i live in buffalo ny, does that tell you something?) and he swears by his ranchos. 4 years and there rusty, which is a givin, but the ride still is firm, even with the plow up. so maby you got a lemon?

Ranchos struts are @$100 right now on rock auto, shocks @$50. Shocks you can install yourself with basic hand tools in about 30 minutes (I did not even jack mine up or remove the tires). Struts should be professionally installed imo. Some do it themselves but it's dangerous without the right coil spring compressor. I had mine installed. Paid @$70 each for the Monroes, @$225 for the install and another $80 for lifetime alignment.

Default Just got it done today

Just got Rancho shocks all the way around with a 2" Daystar kit in the front. It was $706($150 was Labor). I wasn't willing to pay $75 for them to put the rear shocks on so I did it myself at work during break. 4 bolts, took 20 mins. Ride is much improved and well worth it. Tomorrow morning I'm getting Goodyear Slient Armor 265/75x16.......

Ah, there was a shop here that was offering it but its a one-and-done kind. They say I wouldn't need another one ever. I took my money and left. But I'm still looking for a alignment shop.
