Default Strange Noise in rear

Hi I have a 2006 Dakota 2wd. I have a wierd noise comong from the rear. It sounds like a ball dropping in a roulette wheel. I only get the noise when applying the brakes below 40 MPH. No issues just decellerating ar accellerating Applying just the ebrake doesn't make the noise nor can I feel it in the pedal.
Had all the brakes and drums replaced about a month before this started. Took it back the mechanic swapped the drums checked the springs. Still cannot find the cause.

welcome to the forum. sounds like something definitely related to the brake job, if it did not do this before and now it does I'd take it back and make them fix whatever it is....

Default Brakes

Yeah I think its coming from the brakes too. I did take it back and he cannot figure it out. Actually changed my front wheel bearings thinking that was it.
I'd hate to take it to the dealer esp when someone else messed it up.
