Get one with a V8....if you intend on doing any performance modifications. There is practically nothing for either engine, but at least there is superchips for the 4.7....

I have an 05 Quadcab with just shy of 100,000 miles. Loving it. The V6 is a little underpowered for a quadcab's weight. I've had no issues with the truck. If I were buying now, I'd do it again.

I have an '08 TRX4 (V6), and it drives real well in the little I've driven (has around 35k total, I've driven less than 500 probably though, mostly highway driving). I've not pulled anything (only had the bed full of furniture), but I know my dad had a small trailer, and he never mentioned issues.

I have 2010 just like the one your looking.at. just looking at, just towed a 4000 lb trailer. Maintained high way speed used some fuel. It's a truck. I have 34000 km now, no problems at all. I am very happy with it

I have a 2008 SXT 4x4 Crew cab I bought with 86,000 km end of Sept 2011 and I now have 115,xxx on it and aside from my struts I have not had an issue. I get decent mileage outta the 4.7 compared to my 1997 Ram 1500 5.2. I raced a turboed civic from a stoplight and kept up til his turbo really got going at 120 km/h. I routinely drive over an hour to get to work at 120- 130 km/h and this thing has never let me down, I looooove my latest Dak.
