My seatbelt on my 07 dakota just lays there when I unbuckle it. It doesn't want to retract at all. Is there a tension button or somthing that I can reset that it will work, or is it just a matter of replacing it with one from a yard?

I can feed it into the slot, but it takes it pretty slow... if at all

is it twisted anywhere preventing it from retracting? I have read a procedure on how to tighten the spring but it's a royal pia. easier to just replace it. Was it slow to retract before or all the sudden it just wont retract?

Mine did that for a while until I finally got p1$$3d and yanked it all the way out. Made a funny noise and now it retracts fine. lol
