I finally got a plug, and was able to put it in last weekend. I was expecting a bolt with a head on it that is tightened with a wrench. Instead the plug takes an Allen wrench to remove and replace. The plug itself wasn't actually wobbly, or loose. It was in there nice and snug. The recess where you place the Allen wrench was wallowed out somewhat. Apparently, the oil change place had been using the wrong size Allen wrench and had worn it out over time. Course that's not what they told me, they just said it was loose and wobbly. I had to get it from a salvage yard, they ordered it from a supplier. Only cost me $15 including shipping.

I'd find a new place to work on the truck, but I'd go back to that shop & tell them they just lost a customer.
