Default How bad were your upper ball joints?

My drivers side upper ball joint had 3/4" of up and down play. The passenger side had .050" or so.

$300 of Moog upper control arms, and 2 hours of wrenching later, NO SUSPENSION POPS!

Unbe-f'ing-leavable.

Both of mine were completely shot both had complete movement. They were so loose you could move them with your fingers.
I changed them out everything seems to be 100% better
Meanwhile I only have 38k miles

I'm doing uppers and lowers this tax check. The left side has movement in the tire but can't tell if it's upper or lower.

No suspension pops? Is that the sound I hear when I have the wheel turned all the way while making a turn or pulling into a spot? If so I've been hearing that noise since I got the car a year ago. Lol

Wow. Great feeling to knock that stuff out yourself.

Just rotated the tires today, everything up front is still tight at 67,500. But after all the threads about tie rods coming apart, I'm still gonna do those soon.

Same here. Just had an alignment done after replacing the tie rod ends. Ball joints are stout.
