Dealer couldn't provide a backup camera so I ordered the MYgig lockpick with backup camera and full Iphone integration and cable. Has anyone put one in? Any tips on getting the dash bezel off and radio out? Havn't looked yet to be honest, box just came yesterday.

 

bezel has two screws on the bottom edge and then it snaps off. the radio is held in with screws as well. Really easy except getting the two screws out of the bottom of the bezel is a bit of a pia...not much room....

Thanks for the tip! Getting the radio out was a snap and the Lockpick was super easy to install. The most time consuming part was running the wire for the rear camera. Only problem was after I finished the radio wouldn't boot up.

After rechecking everything I emailed their support team who called me back later that day and talked me through some troubleshooting. Turns out there was a mistake in the wiring harness, 2 wires had to swapped. A quick snip and some crimp connectors and all was good. Great product support with a very quick response.

Unit works as advertised, backup camera comes on in Reverse automatically. Lots of options to add more cameras or a rear entertainment unit. Opted for the Ipone intgreation, works pretty good. Plug one cable in my Iphone and I can play music or videos from my phone and control everything including browsing my phone's playlists with the steering wheel controls while seeing it all on the dash screen.

Pretty cool.
