Default Travel trailers?

Started working out of town alot and thinking about getting one. How much is my 06 4 door v8 2wd rated to pull and does anybody here have a travel trailer they pull with a Dakota? Any tips or tricks? I was figuring it would be around a 20 footer that I would get.

Check the inside of the driver side door, should tell you the gvcw. Take your truck loaded with any gear and tools or whatever you bring, to a truck stop, use the scale, that will tell you how much you Weigh, subtract it from the combined weight and that is what you can tow. Just remember, it's not how much you can tow, it's how you stop it all is what counts.

I pulled a 4000 lb trailer easily, only wish I had helper hitch to level the truck a bit. Mine is a v6 and handled It good.
