I've tried to look to see if you have any lifting/suspension FAQs, so sorry if this is explained elsewhere, if you could kindly link me to it if there is I'll check it out. If not - I'm looking to lift my truck. I like the stance on dakotas that have 1.5-2.0 inch level to the front, then either 2" blocks, or an extra leaf to the rear. What do you suggest? What are the benefits of one or the other?

Would you recommend any brands? This seems almost no-name so I'm skeptical but its fairly cheap.

Most of here use either the Trailmaster 1.5" or the Daystar 2" leveling kits. You don't want to go higher than 2" with a 4WD, any higher and it wears out the front wheel drive components.
That Ebay kit is 2.5" kit. For the rear, most guys go with blocks or add a leaf.

I'm running 1.5" Trailmaster leveling kit and stock in the back.

 

I personally wouldnt add add-a-leaf because i love the way my truck handles right now. I personally would just add blocks in the back instead of leafs. I still havent lifted mine yet. But i plan on it but I've been having alot of problems with my dakota. First the tranny went out, then last week the heater core went out. Im doing the heater core first.

 

There are a ton of kits on ebay, so you can go any size, and any combo of leafs or blocks.

Some kits even come with bump stop extensions now, so keep your eyes open when paging through the ebay listings.

 

I went with the Daystar kit, and rancho OEM replacment shocks. no kit in the back...whats the piont? ive been able to fit 31X11.50X16 tsl's, and my road tire is a 265/70/17...stock rim and tire package for a ram.

 

I like the stance with the rear higher. What affect do these have on factory warranty?

 

I've got the 2" daystar leveling kit and 1.5" add a leaf in the back. Still rides fine. if you modify the suspension it will most likely void the warranty. Read the fine print. Depends on how much of a d!ck the dealer wants to be.
