Default simple question

whats the hot wire for the running lights?

I put my fog lights back in, but now the drivers headlight doesnt turn on, before i didnt have the hids, i tapped in to the low beam on this headlight. So I'm assuming its affecting it. I put the PIAA 55w=110w which makes the light be an 85 watt, theyre are pretty bright.

thanks for the help

I would assume you're running the PIAAs and HIDs off of relays? If not, that could cause some issues.

The wire(s) I used for running lights are the ones heading to the directionals. You should have 3 wires going to the socket each. 1 ground, 1 running light, 1 directional. I can't remember what color it was, but I just used a volt meter and turned on the running lights and directional to determine which one I needed.

The piaas have relays and the hids were plug and play, didn't need the relay, so I'm assuming that's why I'm having troubles, but I figure it'll be easier to switch that lead than put in a relay
