My 2006 Dakota dash lights will not come on,so cannot drive at night with out using the interior lights to see the gauges and speedometer. sometimes I can bump the dash an they will come on and then go off. Had a new dash cluster installed but have the same problem.C an anyone help me find this problem?

Make sure the rheostat on the left is not on the lowest setting. It controls how bright the illumination is.

 

Maybe the interior light dimmer switch is shot.
