Default Lifting 2wd

Hey guys hows it going, i just got an 06 dakota v8 quad cab slt 2wd about 2 months ago and want to start lifting it soon. Just have a few quesitons since im new and all. I've read a lot about sapcers and body lifting so here it goes.

1) Since im a 2wd i here that i can go higher in terms of coil spacers compared to 4x4 dakotas. Is it ok to go with the 3" coil spacers? or is that still to high for 2wds. I know about the issue with wearing down front end components(i dont mind changing), i figure 2" and 3" will be the same for a 2wd as far as waering down and such(correct me if im wrong).

2) if i were to do my own 2" body lift, do you think i would need a steering extensions? Also I noticed that even for a 3" BL no brake line or gas filler extension is needed(someone please confirm this), all i would need maybe is radiator extension.

can't wait to do more, i love the truck. Its a big step up from my old compact truck.

With the PA 3" body lift you get radiator extension bars and a steering extension and a brake box mount thingy but no extension for the lines themselves is needed because of the brake box mount thingy. There really isn't a need for a filler tube extension. Hope this helps
