Default i want to do my own coolant/brake/power steering flushes

i rly want to avoid having to pay the auto shop several hundred dollars for something that costs like no more than 100 bucks if i do it myself.

are either of these a major pain in the ***? what tools would i need and what are average times for these things for someone who does not tear into engines ever really..
