Default Trans problems?

OK guys I have a problem with my trans i think. It kinda lunges forward when driving, kinda like its skipping and catching again. It is also making a loud noise when putting it into reverse, hi 4x4 and lo 4x4. Ive checked the fluid levels while hot and cold and the fluid is fine. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info and help here. There's a recent thread(post) called "engine miss at speed", read that and see if that feels like your lunging problem. If it does, it's something a couple of us are experiencing and are trying to figure out. Your issues may or may not be related to each other. Read the suggested thread. The noise when you put in gear, is it a clunk or a grind? If it's a clunk, check your u-joints first and keep us posted.

Not really whats going on with me. I can have a constant pressure on the gas and it will still do it, the lung/jolt.
