Im installing my 2 inch lift kit this week , im keeping my 18 inch wheels but i want to change the tire. im difinetly going to go with an AT tire. Im wondering what size would be better, keep in mind i want to do minimal triming to no triming.

Stock is 265/60/18

Option one is a 265/65/18
option two is a 255/70/18
Option three iss a 275/65/18

Factory/stock is basically a 30.5 inch tire.

265/65/18 is a one inch larger tire than factory. Its basically a 31.5 inch tire.
255/70/18 is a one and a half inch larger tire than factory. Its basically a 32 inch tire.
275/65/18 is a one and a half inch larger tire than factory. Its basically a 32 inch tire.

The 275/65/18 is approximately 0.1 inches larger than the 255/70/18, so not really much difference there.

In other words, in theory, you should be able to upgrade to any of the tires you listed since you are adding two inches to your height. However, some tires are a little "larger" than others, especially if you go from highway tires (stock) to A/T tires. Personally, if you don't want to do any trimming and you are definitely going the A/T route, I'd go the 265/65/18s. Thats my two cents.

 

When you say little to no trimming, if you're referring to just having to trim the edges of the black plasic on the inside of the wheel well with out having to touch any of the painted surfaces, you can go with the BFG TA KO's for an 18in rim and they would fit. All I have on my truck is a leveling kit and I got them to fit with only some minor trimming...if you're doing a 2in lift you might not have to do anything at all...oh and on another note, I also found that I was able to cut a tiny hole on the inside of the fender, on the edge of the plastic and I was able to tie it back with a zip tie to get all the clearance I needed. Can't notice it from the outside at all.
