Thanks for the info, I have to see what the quickstruts cost and go from there as there does not appear to be any issues with the springs themselves.

Even if your springs are OK, you may want to get teh quickstrut! (or similar)

The time you save compressing the spring, removing the old strut from the spring, inserting the new strut in the spring, will be worth it (imnsho). With a QuickStrut you just (sounds easy, doesn't it), unbolt the old and bolt in the new (after relocating all of the other things around it). Search for strut replacement to see what others went through.
