My rear passenger seat is stuck in down position. I checked to see the seat belts weren't caught on the jack. The jack is loose so I don't think anything is caught. Does anyone know if there's a bracket or spring that breaks? Or has anyone fixed theirs? Thanks.

 

I have had it before where they are tough going up... after a long time sitting.

the only thing I could think is that somthing is on the plates that rotate, or that somehow one of the plates is bent and binding.

is the truck new to you, and when was the last time it was up?

Did anything get behind the seat (not under) or on the side of it? or behind the drivers side just far enough to jam the passenger? there is a spring in the hinge...
