Question Newbie needs help

Hi,
I recently purchased a 2006 Dakota SLT 4WD quad cab and i'm looking to spruce it up a bit. I would like to know what is the max rim size with minimal rubbing that i could put on it. I'd really like to put some 20" Ram wheels on it but didn't know if it would work since my truck is stock and not lifted and i have no plans to lift it in the near future, also i was looking at some 22" 22x10" Dodge Ram SRT10 Replica Wheels Rims for Dodge Dakota 2006 from Custom wheel market on Ebay but was also wondering if i was pushing my luck with that size. Any advice would help. I can also be reached at TriniStar18@hotmail.com

The 20" Ram wheels will fit on a stock suspension with a 265/50/20 tire. The Ram wheels are a perfect fit, you can use your same lugs too.
I would strongly advise against a 22" wheel, although it will fit as someone had those wheels on their Dakota but ended up ditching them for 20's.

Welcome to DF, newbie.

22's do not ride very well..way too uncomfortable IMO. I too have a set of 20" Ram wheels I will be putting on. Mine are 275/45/20 but the 50 sidewall does fit with a 265 as Dakotaff stated

Look for anything from 2002 plus, that would be 3rd & 4th Gen Dodge Ram 1500.
Just pick whichever style that you like.

02-05 was the flower petal 20's. These were mine, but sold them when I found my current set, thankfully before I bought tires.

They changed the style in 06. These are also available in aluminum.

These are also a current 20" ram wheel.

Mine are the Laramie Edition from 09.

These aluminum Ram wheels come in 17" and 20".

These 20" SRT10 replicas are available on Ebay, in chrome, black, & I think grey/gunmetal.

And there are plenty of 17" Ram wheels that also fit. I also have these for winter wheels.

Better make sure you have good front end suspension before you start putting on tires that will be hard on it.. These trucks have a lot of issues..
heres info from my last post. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-d...g-springs.html
