well i have the old 31.5"s from my old tahoe on my 05' dak, leveling kit front n 2" add a leaf in the rear, no issues turning or rubbing with the stock rims. but its tight, dont hit a bump while turning hard at speed cuz it'll rub then (dont ask how i know)

What year is that tahoe? I wasn't aware of any 5x5.5 bolt pattern tahoe wheels ...did you redrill? also I did jack it up and put one on but there is no way it was gonna fit if i let the jack down...maybe i'll take a picture and post the "non fitment" on here...

I had the GY Forteras on my old Explorer, they were a pretty good tire, nice and quiet and good in the snow. They were better than the GY Wrangler RT/Ss that they replaced.
Look for the DOT date of manufacture, which is a 4 digit code at the end of the DOT #'s. Tires should be discarded after 7 years.
And look for any dry cracking spots.
