Default $100 tire pressure check

Trying to please the low tire pressure sensor is gonna cost me a 100 bucks. The stem snapped trying to remove a seized cap. They have to replace the whole sensor obviously. Metallic valve caps look nice but this happens.

I heard before that the Plastic ones degrade and ruin the sensors. Luckily I dont have TMPS in my Dakota.

if you can live with the low tire light on, just get a normal valve and replace it

Saw this alot in the repair shop I was at in WA state. The plastic ones look crapy, but they don't corroide on the sensors.
