Default Question: Has anyone accidentally put washer fluid in the coolant overflow?

Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone has done this before. I have just done this by mistake the other night, I then panic'd of course when I realized what I had done. I right away siphoned it out right away. I am hoping that this will be ok. Is there any reason I should have my coolant drained and re filled?

None of it appeared to have got into the rad, I removed what was poured in right away and truck was not started since that happened. Any thoughts??

You're fine. If you have not started just rinse out the overflow with fresh water and don't tell people what you did. Heh

Lets put it this way, at no point have I ever met or worked with a race car builder that has never made a "FML" mistake. Like Mr. Lightning, I will NOT tell my stupid story.

as long as you dont pour radiator quick fix into you engine oil or NOS-drink into your fuel tank you will still be of much higher mental capacities than some whom have done those things...

But we here appreciate honesty, it allows us to poke fun

I once poured sugar in the washer fluid instead of the gas tank. Those makings need to be more clear.
