Default tire size help

I'm working on getting a 2006 Dakota slt 4x4 and I was wondering how big of a tire would I be able to put on it before it would rub? Any advice helps

i have a 2wd and i believe they have about the same clearance. i did do a 2 inch leveling kit and i fit 255 75 17 which is about 32". i did minor trimming, cant even see it. idk if you plan to do level kit with it but should give you some idea

2wd or 4wd, same clearance. 265/70/16 is the largest tire you will fit with stock suspension (as far as 16" wheels go).
