Default getting all air out of cooling sys

Hello all well replaced oe thermostat with 180 thermostat refilled sys with new 50/50 anitfreeze let warm up with heater on thought i had all air out driving around town is ok but when going up hill a ways starts to heat up turn on heater cools alittle but still alittle warm asin about 195/210 any ideas thanks

what type of thermo did you use, also did you drill a hole in stat like factory one, or did it come with one. My 180 stat has never reached the half way mark even under heavy towing, or extreme heat with the a/c on, running the napa stat530080

yea forgot to drill the hole took it apart and did that hopefully thats it thanks
